The teacher facilitator enables the use of the materials provided -
allowing students to explore issues in small self selected (often single sex) groups
and then share their work and conclusions with the class. 
This mechanism provides the freedom and privacy for students to share ideas freely
using the strictly observed Ground Rules originated in Apause in the early 90s
