A PAUSE PROGRAMME THEORY: Collaborative Goals
Apause is based on the understanding that our behaviour is strongly influenced by how we see, interpret and respond to our social worlds.
Teenagers are particularly strongly influenced by other teenagers and therefore key Apause units are delivered by peer educators. Adult facilitated units are also designed to maximise positive social interactions between teenage learners.
These sociable learning experiences impact on individual, social and behavioural factors. Each factor, in turn, influences the other two.
