Training
Training is provided for all stakeholders from peer educators, through adult facilitators including teachers and professionals, to School PSHE specialsists and school managers
The purpose of all training of adults is:
FIRST: To familiarise themselves with the programme sufficiently to deliver the modules and exercises comfortably and ’safely’ in their own style.
SECOND: For adults to understand the principles and mechanisms of the materials provided so that when adapting them for their own or whole school use they can do so with confidence and fidelity to the theoretical principles underlying the program.
THIRD: To give individuals confidence to train the next generation of peer educators and/or their own succesors. This is particulalry relevant in schools where the program is delivered by form tutors who remain with same year group as they move up the school with their year.
